Shipping and Returns

*Please note that most of our candles and scent products are made to order. We ask for a 1-2 day period to make your order before shipping. Most orders placed before 2pm PST are made that day. 

 SHIPPING

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

All orders are shipped through USPS via priorty shipping or first class shipping.

Priority Mail is typically delivered within 1-3 business days while USPS First class usually takes 2-5 business days. You should receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your order ships.

All orders over $35.00 ship free.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We send most international packages via First Class International Mail, which doesn't include features such as tracking information or delivery confirmation. Shipping times vary depending on location, time of year and local postal service. On average, orders should arrive in 2-4 weeks. International packages may be subject to customs, duties or other fees that are calculated by country. RETURNS

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@chateaucandlecompany.com explaining your reason for the return. If your return is accepted, please return the item to us in the original packaging. The buyer is responsible for shipping expenses to return the items. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You have up to 7 days after receiving your items, to report any damages or issues you may have in order to receive an exchange, credit, or refund.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You have up to 7 days after receiving your order, to request an exchange.

 

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
